OnePlus, the renowned Chinese technology company, is set to officially introduce its eagerly awaited flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, at 2:30 pm (local time) in China on December 5, 2023.

A promotional video shared on China’s social media platform Weibo discloses that the OnePlus 12 launch will occur on December 5, 2023, rather than the previously anticipated December 4, 2023. The shift is intended to align with OnePlus’s tenth-anniversary festivities.

The images showcase the OnePlus 12 in Pale Green, Rock Black, and White hues (translated from Chinese). The phone also features a sizable round camera module on the back with three camera lenses and a fourth ring housing additional sensors. The center of the module displays an ‘H’ symbol signifying Hasselblad branding and includes the OnePlus logo.

Moreover, the LED flash is located at the top-left corner outside the circular camera setup. The OnePlus 12 will also boast a periscope zoom lens for capturing high-resolution images of faraway subjects. The device is designed with curved edges and slim bezels surrounding the screen.

The OnePlus 12 is predicted to have a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED panel from BOE with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits, and Display Mate A+ rating compatibility.

Internally, it is expected to house Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC alongside an Adreno GPU. Additionally, it may provide up to 24GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.

In terms of photography capabilities, the primary camera will likely utilize a Sony LYT-808 sensor with a resolution of 50MP and OIS (optical image stabilization) support. The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 14-based Oxygen OS and offer USB 3.2 compatibility over Type-C for faster data transfers.
